Objectives: Advancement in the conservation of built heritage through the design and application of innovative consolidation agents.

Creating new knowledge through a multidisciplinary approach of scientific investigation and the development of strategies for the long-term preservation of cultural heritage objects.

Expected Results: i) Development of innovative conservation strategies for long-term protection of built heritage), ii) Contribution to the reduction of environmental impact through the application of products synthesised using green chemistry principles, iii) Contribution to the advance in multi-instrumental characterization of induced chemical, physical and mechanical modifications of treated objects, iv) Dissemination of results to the professional and general public.
